Newco Construction was invited with several other builders to submit a proposal to design and construct a 17,000 square foot building to house offices, parts storage and trailer bay facilities. The project was awarded to Newco and plans were designed and drawn in-house for a building consisting of 3,500 square feet of office space, 3,500 square feet of parts storage, 10,000 square feet of service bays, and a 3,500 square foot mezzanine. Special design consideration was given to the two 50 ton cranes located in this facility. The building was erected of steel with brick and metal cladding and a flat roof. A smaller 5,000 square foot utility building was designed and built to house one dynometer bay, a wash bay and a storage bay. The land surrounding the building was extensively paved for a driveway and large parking area.
